Diversity of LOVE

October 11th, 2014

In celebration of diversity today, I really wanted to bring in it home with the new Stampin 'Up stamps I just received yesterday.  The set is called Seasonally Scattered.  Features 3 sayings for different occasions.  Merry, Thanks and Love (which is the one I used for this project.  Silver embossing powder for the stamp and using a distress method of applying stamp pad color directly over the embossed area and blend it through (I used a cotton cloth, but sponge daubers work great too).  3M super sticky tape to mask part of the image off to get clean edges on the Whisper White card stock.  The edges are hidden by the Crumb Cake Chevron ribbon both top and bottom of the card front.  Ink colors for the rainbow effect are: Real Rose, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Marina Mist and Lavender Lace.  Crumb Cake card stock for the base.  It's a lot of blending fun!!  Next time I might consider using a darker emboss powder, but silver does look nice for this effect.  Adds depth to the flatter colors.  Happy Stamping!  Thanks for visiting.

Celebrate who you are, Love who you are,
